What happens to what you type
The short version: your words make your prompt, then they are gone. Saved prompts stay in your browser.
- What happens to what I type?
- When you make a prompt, your words go to an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI (today, Meta's Llama), and the prompt comes back to your screen. We do not save your words or the prompt on our servers, and we tell Cloudflare's AI Gateway not to log them.
- What do you log?
- Only numbers that keep the site working: how long a request was, how long the AI took, which tool was used and whether it worked. Never the text itself. Like every website, our host also sees basic request details such as your IP address, which we use to stop abuse (for example, a limit of 10 prompts a minute).
- Where are my saved prompts?
- In your own browser, on this device only, and never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them. You can delete them any time on the Saved page, or download a copy.
- What about share links?
- A share link holds the prompt inside the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to any server, so we never see or store a shared prompt. Anyone with the link can read it, so share it the way you would share the text.
- What is the bot check?
- Before the AI runs, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is using the site. It usually happens invisibly. It is how we keep the tools open without asking you to sign up.
- Cookies and tracking?
- We set one short-lived cookie after the bot check, so you are not checked again for 30 minutes. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what you type.
- What should I not type?
- Passwords, account numbers, health records or other people's private details. A prompt rarely needs them. Use a placeholder like [account number] instead.
