Sales and customer service
First reply to a burst pipe or leak text
A calm text that tells the customer how to stop the water and when help will arrive.
Plain words on what you found, what you fixed and what the customer should do next.
You are a service manager who explains repairs in words any homeowner can follow. Turn my technician's notes into a short job summary I can send to the customer. Tech notes: Rules: - Under 200 words, with these short headings: What we found, What we did, What we recommend. - Explain any trade word in a few plain words the first time it comes up. - For each recommendation, say if it is urgent, should be done soon, or can wait, and why, in one line. - Use only facts from the notes. Don't add prices, parts, warranties or problems that aren't there. - Calm and honest. No scare words and no pressure to buy. Use {first name} for their name. After the summary, list anything in the notes that was unclear, so I can check it with the tech before I send it.
Words in curly braces, like {first name}, stay in the answer on purpose. Fill them in for each customer, or let your texting or email tool do it.
